DEWALT Planer 20V MAX Does A Great Job

I purchased the DEWALT planer because I am constructing a sizable deck. I have used it on pressure-treated wood that was both wet and frozen, applying it both with and against the grain. The planer has worked incredibly well for me in these challenging conditions.

My assessment is that the 6AH battery lasts approximately half an hour of continuous use. This duration of DEWALT planer is suitable for the heavy-duty tasks I’ve been tackling.

The planer uses blades with two cutting edges per blade. I bought a bundle of 10 new thin blades for DEWALT tool, which required significant research to identify. I’ve already flipped the original blades once. The thin blades have proven effective for the work I’m doing.

Overall, the DEWALT planer 20V Max is powerful and performs the job cleanly. It is easy to use and highly recommended for rough work, especially if you’re working on a large project like a deck.
