I’ve been riding the Jasion EB5 electric bike for about 4 months and have covered just over 700 miles with it. So far, I’ve loved every moment. To be honest, I’m not an avid cyclist and had very little knowledge about bikes before making this purchase. Despite my inexperience, the setup and assembly of this e-bike were a breeze. Once you unbox it, you’ll find that putting it together takes hardly any time at all. The only components you need to install are the front tire and the handlebar.
The installation of the Jasion EB5 electric bike was remarkably straightforward. To start, installing the front tire was simple—just slide it into the brake pads. Attaching the handlebar was just as easy; you use an Allen wrench to secure it to the stem. Additionally, we only needed to attach the seat and pedals, which made the entire setup process quick. Altogether, the bike was ready to ride within 15 minutes of unpacking.
The bike is equipped with a 350-watt motor, which is less powerful compared to my other bike that has a 750-watt motor. Despite this, the 350-watt motor provides ample power and handles hills effortlessly. The pedal assist feature, in particular, stands out. It activates with just a half rotation of the pedals, giving a noticeable boost and making the ride more enjoyable. While the throttle is powerful, the pedal assist delivers even more support.
The e-bike features a removable battery, which simplifies charging. You can expect a range of approximately 30 to 40 miles per charge, depending on your riding speed and throttle use. To charge the battery, simply unlock it with a key, remove it from the bike, and plug it into the wall. This feature eliminates the need to bring the entire bike inside for charging. Additionally, the bike includes a USB-A port for charging your cell phone while riding.
The brakes performed well right out of the box, requiring no adjustments. The bike includes an integrated headlight that is quite bright. However, the taillight is not integrated but can be attached to the stem of the bike seat. Although it needs to be charged separately, it is a useful addition.
The Jasion EB5 electric bike features an LCD screen that tracks your speed, battery level, and trip mileage. This allows you to reset and monitor your distance daily. The bike also includes a loud horn for safety.
Overall, the e-bike from Jason is an excellent entry-level option. It provides sufficient power for enjoyable rides and is lightweight, making it easier to maneuver compared to heavier bikes. It’s a great choice for regular use and offers good value for its features. In conclusion, I would recommend the Jasion EB5 electric bike.
